Vyacheslav was born on December 23, 1939, in Novosibirsk. He studied at the High Naval School of Weapons Engineers in Leningrad, then graduated from the faculty of translators of the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages (department of machine translation and mathematical linguistics). Vyachaeslav is a member of Writers Union of Russia, Writers Union of Serbia and Writers Union of the Serbian Republic. He is a laureate of Gonnese Poetry Festival (Italy, 1986), European Literary Prize (Yugoslavia, 1987), Macedonian Literary Wand (1999), V. Branko Radichevich Prise (Serbia, 2006), Austrian Ministry of Education Prise (2007), Moravian Scroll Prize (Serbia, 2008), Bunin Prize (2010), Certificate of Honour of the Head of Sakha Republic (Yakutia, 2016), European Atlas of Poetry' International Prize (Republika Srpska, 2017), Felix Romulana Prize (Serbia, 2017), Thread Connecting Hearts Prize (Writers Union of Russia, 2018), Yugra Prize (Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, 2018), and Naji Naaman International Literary Prize (Japan, 2018).
